Born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1921, Julian was raised in Southern California. The U.S. Army Air Corps and U.S. Air Force selected his services during the World War II era. Following the War, he attended and graduated from the Los Angeles Art Center in 1949.
Julian was employed as a Technical Art Illustrator for Northrop Aviation’s Art Department, and while there he was honored with several achievement awards during his tenure as illustrator.
Retiring after 33 years with Northrop and in 1983, Julian moved to Sedona, Arizona where he devoted himself full time to painting and sculpting. He attempts to express
